this week has been hectic. haha, ive finally gotten dwn to studying and im really enjoying having ian as a roomie, but shh. i cant tell him tht cos his head will not fit in the main door. its fun cos i feel uninhibited to do anything i want. since ive been here, ive cooked more than ive ever did since ive been in nyc, partied more, done more studying and even cleaned more since ian is quite the neat freak.



thts him, and we just came back frm grocery shopping! haha

and anyway, it was kumweng's bday on sat! we celebrated it with a meal over at my place which i prepared lovingly for a dear friend. Haha! im laughing cos the relationship i share with kw has got to be the most multi-faceted. we hate but love each other at the same time.

and also, i went for dim sum today and i saw nancy sit eating dim sum!!! ahhhh!
haha.. we got so darn excited tht we only ate like 3 plates bfore scurrying to catch a picture! she was so friendly.. though millions of pple might have approached her for a picture, she bothered to actually talk to us about singapore and her new shows when we asked her. haha.. she was stumbling in her chinese btw, but i didnt know enough canto to actually be fluent. haha..



also, there was a giant parade and a pig race in chinatown! u heard me right, a pig race where groups of pigs with funky names like "the piggies" and "babe" were competing in a race.



so, thts an eventful week, and im gonna cook bak kut teh for dinner tonight. kyle asked me if i was taking a major in homemaking, but i count it as one of my many talents! could be seen negatively cos i could be just another huang lian po but seriously, do i care? haha

midterms next week. gotta start mugging again after dinner.
