so that was it.

one semester is over, finals over. its weird how time slipped past my clenched fists. i held on so tightly to time, counting its every second, counting down to the day when im finally home. and now, its just 5 more months before ill be back, on singapore soil! i dont know how else to express what im feeling now. mixed emotions, tossed in a salad bowl, rojak style.

i thought about the days when you would hear whoops of joy in school once the last paper ended. joyce running down the aisles, flapping her arms around, junjing going "yes, yes!" shui "woohooing" in her shrill voice, shuzhen beckoning all of us to leave the classroom, jingjun waving the peace sign, while others packed up their books. everywhere, u saw people dumping their notes, books into their lockers. people untucking their shirts, letting down their hair, out of school for some after exam fun. we never did much, just walking around orchard, catching a movie, sittin down and chillin, but it was such fun. and now, i sit alone in my room, cos i ended the earliest.. the rest are still having papers till friday.

was supposed to go ice-skating, but kummie just told me he's not going anymore. i think thts God telling me i needta do something with my room. its a mess, esp when i couldnt be bothered packing it up when i was studying. time to sacudir los muebles, hacer la cama, barrer el piso, lavar los ropas.

this semester has been kinda hellish. i took heavy courses, writing, islamic diaspora, spanish and comparative politics. next sem is supposedly lighter, cos im gonna take natural science, but still, conwest, political theory, international politics and international relations of asia. but since i survived this term, im gonna survive every other term. must pep myself up for it.

shoes going for her family holiday! to las vegas n alaska. feel so happy for her. its been sometime since my family went on a holiday together. its been mum dad and charlton cos cheryl n i have been working. but, God is waiting to bless us with something better, we'd wait for it.
