i just booked my tickets to Texas and LA over the winter break after Calvin leaves.

ouch.

i never really asked for money from my parents after i started working.. but since living in manhattan is overwhelmingly expensive, all this is prolly on credit with my parents. but ill pay them back soon enough.

school has been tiring.. there are just so many assignments to complete and readings to go through. sometimes i wonder if its because i havent been studyin for the past 2 years or its because i am not up to it cos i find myself struggling. but God always pulls me up. "his mercies are new everyday."

went to boston.. met up with lind and rahmei, had a great time though utopia was such a let down.

been looking for apartments. intend to stay in manhattan but the rents are so exorbitant. with small floor areas. i mean, living in the city is great, as compared to say columbia which is in manhattan, but its so far uptown that there really is nothing much to see, but i still wish for cheap stuff to buy n see.

ok, enough of all the gloom. im actually happy cos im finally talking to a really really dear friend of mine. and shoes has been such a blessing! its like reliving all the better half moments we shared back in singapore. i thought it was quixotic, extremely impractical to think that i would be able to talk to a friend over the phone everyday without feeling bored. but with free night minutes, its so totally possible! and our sleep schedules work out well, since she's 3 hours behind me and im a late sleeper, we kinda talk to each other before we fall into deep slumber. mwhahahahaha.. that makes me really happy.

and im getting to see her this winter. getting away from all the cold and frost, there's gonna be some hace sol~ not only in temperature, but also to see the orange blob of sunshine!!!

im trying hard to disengage myself from the computer. gotta go study for my midterms.. do u feel the tension....eeeee.....tugging incessantly at my hands..pullin out of the viscuous goo, treacly, mucilaginous glopp...snap! and i tumble in a ball, hitting hard onto the cement wall at the other side of the room. WHAM,
