the more i seek you,
the more i find you.
the more i find you,
the more i love you..

i want to stand at your feet,
drink from the cup in your hands.
lay back against you and breathe
feel your heartbeat
this love is so deep
its more than i can stand
i melt in your peace its overwhelming...

and when all seems to tumble down in the darkness.
when you feel like you're clawing endlessly in an empty trove
the dirt coat on your skin, the sand bits cutting into your skin
when u feel all alone, walking, aimless, crestfallen
people stream past absorbed and indifferent,
your head hung low, unwilling to face the world

you know, i know. that Jesus died to set us free.

As Augustine says, "Since God is supremely good, he would not permit any evil at all in his works, unless he were sufficiently almighty and good to bring good even from evil."
It is therefore the mark of the limitless goodness of God that he permits evils to exist, and draws from them good.
~Thomas Aquinas - Summa Theologiae 1A 2, 3
