wonderful wonderful weekend!

ruomei n shouyi came down to new york and it was a blast! wow! though i had lots of hmwrk, i just threw them aside and i dont regret a single second.

met up w ruomei n david n kumweng for some dimsum in chinatown, then went shopping arnd the place. thank god for the instant noodles, digestives, cereal, greentea and cheap tupperware. the durians here do not smell a single bit, talk about adaptation, haha.

after that, went to serendipity. the little cafe which was featured in the movie. had a frozen hot choc, cannot say no sundae and a forbidden broadway sundae. gawd, it was so chocolatey and rich and the 4 of us couldnt finish them. can u believe that the place has a minimum charge of USD 8.50 per person cos u have to like queue 1.5 hrs just to get in???

after tt, we kinda went to this korean restaurant for tofu and kimchi cos ruomei didnt wanna end the day with choc in her mouth. the food was good and the appetisers alone kinda made up 40% of the meal.

the next day, we walked to citylight church and cos we were early, had dinner at some American diners then went to the park to get some sunshine and watch doggies run in this doggie corner where they dont have to be leashed up. the primate instincts of animals were so hilarious. all the dogs were basically trying to hump each other.

church was amazing. how to not have stress:

1. check your schedule
2. check your finances
3. check your words
4. check your heart

God is amazing and I know he is there always. I felt so much better after that intimate session with him.
