the main highlight of the week was results day. which was on friday, 4th of march. before i go on, i shall tell u that im blogging in the project room again cos im serving confinement.

so anyway, the whole week, we had IMT, live range etc etc, im qutie a bobo shooter, cant get shots for nuts, but luckily still managed to pass. supposed to have IPPT on thurs, but it rained so they postponed it. so anyway, fri only managed to book out at 1330 so reached school late. was really scared but mr burge forced me to look at the result slip though my initial intent was to bring the slip home n wait till sun morn to look.got 3 As and 1 B, GP B3, 2 merits for my s papers. quite relieved cos i managed to scrape the minimum requirement for all the stuff. i really worry that i wont get the scholarship cos of my BMT report. but im jus praying for the best.

i look at all the sciences pple who got 4 As and somehow, im envious, but im thankful and contented w my results cos i know, i put in all i had, like many others i know. i think we shouldnt do a disservice to ourselves if we know we didnt let ourselves down. why let preset social standards or judgements weigh us down so badly? and results may be important, it may be a turning point, but who are we to say it is the end? we are still 19, a tender young age and we have so much in front of us. can anyone tell me that they have had no wonderful memories in JC? im thankful for the friends ive made, the bonds ive forged, the me ive become, moulded by all the different situations i was put through. Thank God.

so, we shouldnt be so parochial in our views. look at the bigger picture n move on. ive told myself that, and i know it will be hard if some disappointment for eg, not getting the scholarship, comes along, but do remind me if u see that.

and ive learnt one important lesson this week. simple faith in u n me, will make miracles. insecurities, assumptions and insincerity will collapse even the strongest wall. thanks kai.
